Things are crazy. Life is crazy. And sometimes i feel like life is out to get me, like people think they can just walk all over me. I miss my careless summer already! Being a sophomore is different. But through all this craziness I've really been struggling with my boyfriend. This time of the year is always hardest for us because we are involved in so many different things that our lives split up a little. It's not POSSIBLE for us to see each other often like we did in the summer. No time for calls or texts. Things are really different. We don't see a lot of each other in school, we've never had any classes together. But I'm talking about this because last night at church we learned about this campaign our church has. "Illini Life is for Lovers." something that really stuck out to me was what a lover is to a person like me. This church is for people who LOVE GOD. Not someone who expresses "love" through sexuality. A lover of God! I have to say is was one of the coolest campaigns I've ever see. Something Matt talked about was what a good lover was...
LOVE IS ACTIVE.
LOVE SERVES.
LOVE CONFRONTS.
LOVE IS COSTLY.
And when I think about this I just understand a little more that everything is going to be okay. Because God is love.
